Cake or Cupcakes??????

I am so excited about how this cake turned out. I was so frustrated in the beginning because the top layer was actually supposed to be cake covered in fondant but as you can see the end result...... CUPCAKES. The color was also a problem it was supposed to be RED. But it looks so much better pink!!!! I definitely learned a lot from this cake. I can't wait for the next one!!!!

Hobby anyone!!!!!!!

So my new hobby is baking and decorating cakes. I love doing it but it is super hard and I am really slow but I think I will get there eventually. My first cake was for my niece Brilee's 7th birthday I don't have a pic yet but I think it turned out really pretty. The second cake I did was for my sister's birthday. It didn't turn out very well it was my first time using just icing and decorator tips but I think the colors were adorable.

BABY SHOWER TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am super excited to be hosting my best friend Jennifer's baby shower. The theme is black, pink, and zebra. I found these totes at Hobby Lobby ( My new favorite place to shop) for really cheap. These will be centerpieces on the tables. I have so many more things to put together for the shower and I will post pics as soon as I get them finished.
